Hello again!

I did not mean to be absent for almost a month! There has been some sewing going on, but this has been a crazy, hectic month around here. We spent two weekends out of town: one trip to Atlanta for a friend from college's wedding and a twenty hour in the car over the course of two and a half days weekend journey to Hobbs, NM to attend my niece's first birthday party. They were both incredibly fun, but exhausting. I generally sew on the weekend, so this led to much time away from the sewing machine.

Work has also been incredibly busy over the last month of school. I am not sure where the last month went! Only two more days until summer vacation! I will then have plenty of time to sew and read and gallivant around town.:)

Of course, you may be asking what bibs have to do with that? I am pregnant! We are expecting a little girl in September. She will be our first. This has helped lead to going to bed super early and general exhaustion all around. That is who these little bibs will be for come this fall. I am so excited about seeing her and all the fun things I get to make to welcome her in the next couple of months.

I will be posting more regularly now that I will have some time off. I also will be frequenting all of your blogs more and commenting! I'm sorry I have been absent, but I am coming back.:)

Welcome back! Congrats on your big news! How exciting. Check out Amandajean's tutorial (crazymomquilts.blogspot.com) on making little girl dresses. So easy, quick and a great way to showcase your favorite fabrics. I have an almost 2 yr old little girl and I've started sewing her outfits. I love it :-) I'm so happy for you!

Yeeehhaaaa! Congratulations!!!

The bibs are so pretty! Sew while you can, because it's all gonna change soon! When you DO have spare time, you'll most likely be spending it sleeping or gazing on that precious miracle and forget how to thread your machine.

Very happy for you.

Such wonderful news, Audrey! Still brings a smile to my face. :)

And how lucky this little girl will be for all the sweet things you will make her, all the loving attention and guidance you will give her. Precious gifts of life.

The bibs are adorable. How fun to start getting things ready for her grand arrival!

Rest, relax, enjoy, feel the energy of friendship and family in every moment!

Peace out!

Ana :)

YAY!!! Congratulations! I have been wondering about you. Hey, my pay-it-forward gift might have to end up being pink, because I don't get to make a lot of pink stuff here!!

The bibs are adorable and I'm sure they're going to look adorable on an adorable little girl:) You are going to have SEW much fun in the future! Little girls are SEW much fun to sew for plus some of them become your sewing and crafting buddies:) One of mine is. I can't wait to see all the cute things that will come out of your creative mind for this little one. It's going to be fun.

Congratulations Audrey! I am so happy for you and B. I cannot wait to see your pregnant little belly! I have already started gathering things to give/send to you for the little one. There is no greater joy for me than to spoil our people's children (just ask Jess). Take it easy.
