I was downtown this weekend and it was beautiful. We went to the Denver Art Museum on Saturday. The above picture is a sculpture outside the museum. We then went to driving school. That is i got my license at the MarioKart Wii Driving School:

We got to play the new Mariokart game which comes out later this month. I came in first twice, I guess my license helps.

I am involved with a virtual quilting bee/lap quilt block swap over at craftster.org. The basic premise is that you send 11 other people pieces of your fabric, they create quilt blocks out of it, and then send it back to you. Of course, I also received fabric from 11 other people and created blocks for them. Here are the blocks I received back with one block from me. I created the star in the second row in the 3rd column.

Nickel Dog Quilt: Work in Progress

I worked on my nickel dog quilt today joining all those cute dogs together. Here is my progress thus far. There are 36 dogs combined to make up the center square. Next, is the border.
It really isn't that wrinkly... :)
